To Love Their Husbands

Welcome

This website was originally created for women studying what scripture says about being "excellent wives." The study is based on Proverbs 31, but also takes into account a lot of other things scripture tells us about an excellent wife. The goal is not to provide a list of "do's and don't's," but to address what it takes to be an excellent wife; a trustworthy, diligent, wise woman who loves her husband. The lessons from that class are available on the "Lessons" page and the audio of the classes are on the "Audio" page.

We have just recently begun a class on parenting called "To Love Their Children," taught by Jim Allen and his brother, Dr. David Allen. Dr. Allen is a pediatrician of long-standing and a frequent speaker on issues related to raising children. We have (and will) put the audio from those lessons on the "Love Their Children" page on this website.
If you want to read just some thoughts for the day, go to Thoughts for the Day, a somewhat daily blog.

If you want to ask questions or post thoughts, just go to "Contact Us" and send anything along that you want to share. We will look at it and either answer privately or on the Thoughts for the Day page.

Come often, we have a long way to go together.

For those looking for a broader source for teaching, please visit www.graceforlaw.com. At that website, I have posted various sermons and classes from the last few years, including lessons on Romans, 2 Corinthians, Ephesians (our current study) and on the Baptist Faith and Message. I also include a regular "Thought for the Day" on that website.
